I (Brandon) have worked in real estate since 2011, starting at Your Castle Real Estate and Cherry Creek Properties. After years of assisting me, Kara received her license in 2015. Kara and I founded Douglas County Real Estate LLC in 2015 to provide localized service and truly immerse ourselves in this lovely county.

We may be seen enjoying the mountains and open spaces with our three beloved dogs whenever we are not exhibiting houses and negotiating the best transaction for our clients!

Kara and I met in high school and married shortly after graduating from Eaglecrest High School. One year after graduating from high school, we bought our first home. We chose to set our roots in Castle Rock because we loved the homes, prices, location, open space, and most of all the small-town charm this community has. Since I was in eighth grade, I worked for the Wagner Equipment Company, which specialized in Caterpillar machinery. Real estate became my passion and I set out to make my goal a reality.

"Douglas County Real Estate was an excellent choice when selling my home. Brandon was an excellent listener and went above and beyond to help. I had another Real Estate agent before Brandon and the other agent’s only interest was getting the commission check (This bad agent was even recommended by a close friend) and the bad agent was pushing me to sell my house for more than $40,000 cheaper then asking price just 6 days on the market so needless to say; the bad agent and I parted ways and I found Brandon on Google and Douglas County Real Estate had excellent reviews and interviewed Brandon plus 4 different agents. "Whether you are buying or selling a home, it is a great idea to make sure all the (checks) are there. Brandon and & Kara have far surpassed our expectations! I will hit the "highlights" but could definitely go on and on with the benefits of hiring them. I promise you they will go the extra mile for you! They will communicate EVERYTHING with you, they have always returned my calls within an hour or so and will answer your questions with great detail. With each home you like they will run the numbers (taxes, HOA, etc..) to make sure you are happy with the monthly payment prior to visiting the home. They will get you every perk possible with the purchase your home. While yes this is a business, they seem to take it personally and want to make sure everyone is happy with their home purchase or sale. They will treat you like family, which is so wonderful!! We have hired them for both buying and selling. Prior to meeting Brandon & Kara we have met with other realtors and none of them have come even close to the "top shelf" service you get with Brandon Lee & Kara Lee!
