Phillip S Miller Park

This park is new to Castle Rock as it was part of the new built MAC Center near the southern part of town. This park includes zip lines, bike trails, walking trails and so much more. There seems to be something for every person in the family. You can go and spend some time in the activity center or enjoy the great outdoors by climbing the mini incline with eh family.

Rock Park

If you’re looking for a shorter activity to take the family on, consider Rock Park. Home of the famous Castle Rock, the hike to the top is a simple walk around and the views are incredible. If you want to make the stay a little longer, pack lunches and enjoy the food at the top.

Festival Park

Located in downtown Castle Rock, this park lives up to its name. Usually the center of all the town’s festivals, there is also plenty to do for families on other days as well. This park has paved trails, picnic tables, public art, and an outdoor amphitheater. There is also electricity available at this park. A great place for a game of kickball or a picnic on a bright and sunny Colorado day!

Butterfield Park

Butterfield park has a big variety of things to do for families. Whether it’s using the outdoor swimming pool in the summer, playing on the tennis courts, or playing on the playgrounds, it is a guaranteed fun day at Butterfield Park. They even have tot swings for the smallest family member.

Metzler Ranch Park

Take the family and enjoy a baseball game or softball game at Metzler Ranch. Along with the fields, this park has in-line rinks, playgrounds, and paved trails. There is also general and reservable picnic areas at this park. Do the kids like to skate? There is a skate park here as well.
